Which path is right for me?
If you want a clear, step-by-step learning path, choose Lesson Flows. If you want to casually talk about interesting topics with no long-term commitment, choose Drop-In Discussions. If you want to forget you're studying and just use English naturally, choose Guided Gaming!
Do I need to be a premium member to book a session?
No! All of our live sessions are open to the public and can be booked individually. However, Premium Members receive an automatic discount on every live session they book, plus full access to our self-study courses.
How long are the sessions?
All sessions are scheduled for 60 minutes. Depending on your speaking pace and how quickly we complete the lesson material, a typical session lasts anywhere from 45 to 60 minutes.
What software do we use for the call?
We use Google Meet or VooV for all of our 1-on-1 sessions. Once you book your session, you will receive a calendar invitation with a direct link to join the video call. (Note: Guided Gaming sessions use Discord for voice chat).
Can I join the session from my phone?
Yes, you can! However, if you are joining from a phone or tablet, you will need to download the free Google Meet app (or VooV app) from your app store before the call begins. (Note: Guided Gaming sessions require a PC).
Where do I find the link to join my session?
As soon as you book, you will receive a confirmation email containing your direct video link. You can also find your "Join Meeting" link at any time by logging in and checking the Your Bookings section of your dashboard.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes, absolutely. You can reschedule or cancel your session directly through the link in your confirmation email. We kindly ask that you give us at least 24 hours' notice so we can open up that time slot for other students!
What happens if I am late?
Life happens! Your coach will wait in the virtual meeting room for 15 minutes. If you join within that window, we will gladly practice for the remaining time. After 15 minutes, the coach will close the meeting room and the session will end.
